Hornady InterLock bullets give handloaders a proven .30 caliber projectile for building accurate hard-hitting rifle loads at the bench. Each box holds 100 component bullets sized to a .308" diameter and weighing 150 grains. An exposed soft point lead tip drives controlled expansion on game. The standout is the InterLock design a mechanical lock built into the bullet itself. It keeps the core and jacket together through impact so the bullet holds its mass and drives deep.
That lock is not marketing shorthand. Inside the jacket sits a raised ring embedded in the bullet's lead core. It grips the core as the bullet expands so the two do not separate on the way through. The result is high retained weight and consistent terminal performance shot after shot. Hornady pairs that construction with a secant ogive profile. The shape improves ballistic efficiency and helps the 150 grain pill carry velocity and energy downrange.
For reloaders the fit is straightforward. These are .30 caliber .308" diameter bullets. They seat in the popular .30 cal cases you already load including .308 Winchester and .30-06 Springfield. At 150 grains this is a versatile mid-weight choice for deer-sized game and general range work. You get a soft point that expands reliably without the premium price of a bonded or match projectile. The exposed lead tip and jacketed lead build make these a traditional hunting projectile not a lead-free option. Buy them as loose component bullets not loaded ammunition and work up your charge to match your rifle.
